Mr. Yong Boon Chuan Leslie is an advisor to Wis Holdings Pte Ltd; a business consultant to Hup Seng Fresh Egg Supplier; and a director of Tong Ren International Trading Pte. Ltd. and Cherry Pink Pte. Ltd.

He was involved in various associations and community groups including the chairman of the Cheng San Citizens' Consultative Committee (CCC); the town councillor and vice chairman of the finance committee of the Ang Mo Kio Town Council; and the councillor and member of the self-reliance committee of the Central Singapore Community Development Council. He is currently the Patron of Cheng San-Seletar CCC as well as Queenstown CCMC.  

Mr. Yong was awarded the Public Service Medal (PBM) in 1988 and the Public Service Star (BBM) in 1996. Both the PBM and the BBM were awarded to him by His Excellency, The President of Singapore, in recognition of his contributions towards community service in Singapore.
